i always get asked why it's "Johnny in Paris" when i work out of boston. The story is, when instagram was new and growing as a photo sharing app, i signed up and needed a username. At the time, Kanye West & Jay Z had released "watch the throne" and "N***** in Paris" was a universal hit.
That is how the name "Johnny in Paris" was born.
