This piece was created with characters from my childhood while with a couple special guests that would have fit in perfectly. The 90s was such a beautiful time to grow up. The energy in the world was different. The chaos seemed manageable, you understood that the world was a dangerous place - but there was a comfort in pop culture, in the cartoons, in the vibes - that everything would be okay. That is the inspiration behind this painting and the other pieces of this series.
